    • ThinkPad X200 CentOS 6.x
    • ThinkPad X220 CentOS 6.x

    • ThinkPad X240 RHEL 7.x
    • ThinkPad X131e Fedora 20-23

Unfortunately, Lenovo doesn’t sell laptop prelude with Linux to the end users. You want to stay their Linux Certification page. This vendor included here due to popular demand.

    Conclusion

Dell rigor and Latitude machines have created for me over the years. Original IBM Thinkpad too. Currently, I’m applying the following systems:
    1. Lenovo x230 with OpenBSD (personal)
    2. Dell m6500 workstation with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Linux (my work laptop)
    3. Mini free Libreboot X200 with Gnu Trisquel Linux (my travel laptop)

System76 looks preferred with excellent hardware and high character too. You can just addition it and start alive on it. No want to worry about drivers or append issue. Same with other vendors specified in this post. The FSF only confirm the Mini free or Ubiquity hawker. Both of them sell adjusted ThinkPads. So the hardware is elegant reasonable, and you get 100% binary blob free surroundings.

What laptop do you recommend for use with Linux? Please add your consultation on what to avoid. Any horror stories about distinct vendors?
